Chiropractic Care
As a full-service holistic chiropractic practice, our Doctors believe in using every chiropractic technique possible to allow the body to heal itself. We are a premier provider of chiropractic services in Columbus Indiana for sports injuries and rehabilitation. Our non-invasive chiropractic treatments for sports injuries and performance problems include those for shoulder, knee, and back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, and a wide variety of other problems, as well as sports chiropractic preventative care.
Our chiropractors are parents and take a specific interest in prenatal, postnatal, and child chiropractic care. All of our chiropractors have obtained advanced training in working with pre and postnatal mothers as well as patients under 18 years old.
Auto accident injuries are more common than we’d like to admit. One of the most common results of auto accidents is whiplash. Many of our patients don’t feel any symptoms for days or even weeks after the initial accident. Whiplash can have long-term effects and can have consequences that are felt at work, at home, or during many leisure activities.
Sciatica (pronounced sigh-at-eh-kah) is not a medical diagnosis in and of itself—it is a symptom of an underlying medical condition. Common lower back problems that can cause sciatica symptoms include a lumbar herniated disc, degenerative disc disease, piriformis syndrome, or spinal stenosis. Spinal adjustments and manual manipulation performed by our appropriately trained chiropractors focus on providing better spinal column alignment, which in turn helps address a number of underlying conditions that can cause sciatic nerve pain.
And speaking of lower back problems, perhaps the most common reason we see chiropractic patients in our office is persistent, chronic back pain. Back pain, even the mildest variety, can be debilitating when it goes on for a long time. When our chiropractors treat back pain, the first step is to find the cause of the pain to help determine how to prevent it from happening again. Only after that will we attempt to treat the pain itself. Some of the treatment options we offer are spinal adjustments, exercises, lifestyle changes, home stretches and strengthening exercises.
